All of our tiki mugs start with a sketch of an idea, then I find the best options to have it produced both locally here in California or abroad! I’ve worked with the incredible talent John Mulder of Eekum Bookem who produced my Hukilau Shrunken Head mug Pumpkin Head Kid, Stacked tiki baby mug etc plus I’ve worked with Munktiki imports, Tiki Farm. Tiki Farm produced my Hornbill mug and Munktiki Import produced a cute pineapple for Ventiki! Prior to working with these mug makers, my wife was the sculptor as well as intriquite glazer of all our multi colored mugs like the mermaid mug, elephant, and multi colored chirp chirps and toucan mugs. Now I’m working with Lost Tiki and Lost Tiki Girl of TikiLand Trading co with both made in California mugs as well as overseas! Choosing where just depends on the design, and how to achieve the best possible outcome! Over my 20 years of being a tiki artist, I’m a collector of vintage mugs first, then started collecting artists mugs like Munktiki and now my studio walls and shack are covered in incredible mugs from artists all over! Here are just a few of my mugs over the years! Hoping to have a full history and timeline of mugs up over the coming year or so!
